When Hickory Lake Lodge in Garrison Minnesota decided to demolish their 60 year old commercial concrete pool, they decided that a San Juan Fiberglass Pool was the best choice for replacement. First, they were all to familiar with pools and the traditional “work” that goes with them. Because San Juan Pools have a smooth polished finish, they are resistant to algae, bacteria growth and other impurities that their old concrete pool caused. Second the San Juan Pool is much tougher and flexible making it more resistant to the freeze thaw zone in Minnesota and that was a big factor in their decision. Also, the idea of sandblasting and epoxy painting that old concrete pool one more time was not only time consuming, but expensive! Now the guests of Hickory Lake Lodge in Garrison Minnesota are enjoying a good splash instead of waiting for the yearly concrete pool repairs.
